ThegearboxislledwithSAE85W-140gearlube.The
capacityis0.5L(16oz).Visuallyinspectforleaksdaily.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Removethecheck/llplugfromtheleftsideofthe
gearboxandensurethatlubricantisuptothebottom
ofthehole(Figure62).
Note:Ifthelevelislow ,addenoughlubricanttobring
theleveluptothebottomofthehole.

Changethelubricantinitiallyaftertherst200hoursof
operationandevery800hoursofoperationthereafter.

2.Cleantheareaaroundthe3drainplugs;1oneachend
and1inthecenter(Figure63).
3.Removethecheckplugstoeaseinthedrainingofthe
oil.
4.Removethedrainplugsandallowtheoiltodraininto
thepans.
