1.Measurethecenter-to-centerdistance(ataxleheight)at
thefrontandrearofthesteeringtires.
Note:Thefrontmeasurementmustbe6mm(1/4
inch)lessthantherearmeasurement.
2.Toadjust,loosentheclampsatbothendsofthetie
rods.
3.Rotatethetie-rodendtomovethefrontofthetire
inwardoroutward.
4.Tightenthetie-rodclampswhentheadjustmentis
correct.

Dischargeofhot,pressurizedcoolantortouchinga
hotradiatorandsurroundingpartscancausesevere
burns.
Donotremovetheradiatorcapwhentheengine
ishot.Alwaysallowtheenginetocoolatleast15
minutesoruntiltheradiatorcapiscoolenough
totouchwithoutburningyourhandbefore
removingtheradiatorcap.
Donottouchtheradiatorandsurroundingparts
thatarehot.

Checkthecoolantlevelatthebeginningofeachday.The
capacityofthesystemis8.5L(9USqt).
1.Carefullyremovetheradiatorcapandexpansion-tank
cap(Figure65).
2.Checkthecoolantlevelintheradiator.
Note:Theradiatorshouldbelledtothetopofthe
llerneckandtheexpansiontanklledtotheFull
mark.
