SonicBoomandFoamMarkerSwitch

Ifyouinstallthesonicboomand/orthefoammarkerkit,you
willaddswitchestothecontrolpanelforcontrollingtheir
operation.Thesprayercomeswithplasticplugsinthese
locations.
Regulating(RateControl)Valve
Thisvalve,locatedbehindthetank(Figure34),controlsthe
amountofuidthatisroutedtotheboomsbydirecting
uidowtotheboomsorthebypasshosetotheagitation
valve.Youcancontrolthisvalveintwoways:theapplication
rateswitchormanually.Tocontrolitmanually,youneedto
disconnectthewireconnectoronthevalve,thenyoucan
rotatetheknobontopofthevalvetomanuallyobtainthe
desiredapplicationrate.

Theowmetermeasurestheowrateoftheuidforuseby
theSprayProsystem(Figure34).
BoomValves
Thesevalvesturnthethreeboomsonoroff(Figure34).If
youdonothaveaboominstalledordonotwantaboom
tobeabletobeturnedon,youcanmanuallyoperateeach
valvebydisconnectingthewireconnectorinthevalve,then
rotatetheknobonthevalveclockwisetoturnthevalveoffor
counterclockwisetoturniton.
BoomBypassValves
Theboombypassvalvesredirecttheuidowforaboom
tothetankwhenyouturnofftheboomsection.Youcan
adjustthesevalvestoensurethattheboompressureremains
constantnomatterhowmanyboomsareon.Referto
CalibratingtheBoomBypassValves,intheOperationsection.
AgitationControlValve
Thisvalveislocatedontherightsideofthetank(Figure35).
Turntheknobonthevalvetothe9o'clockpositiontoturn
onthetankagitationandtothe3o'clockpositiontoturn
offthetankagitation.

Note:Foragitationtowork,thePTOandclutchmustbe
engaged,andtheenginemustberunningaboveanidle.If
youstopthesprayerandneedagitationon,placetherange
shiftleverintheNeutralposition,letouttheclutch,setthe
parkingbrake,andsetthehandthrottle(ifequipped).
PressureGauge
Thepressuregaugeislocatedtotherightofthetank
(Figure35).Thisgaugeshowsthepressureoftheuidinthe
systeminpsiandbar.
TankDrainHandle
Thetankdrainhandleislocatedontopofthetank(Figure36).
Toopenthetankdrain,loosenthenutandpullupwardson
theT-handleuntilthedesireddrainowisachieved.
Important:Pullthehandlegently.Donotpulltoohard
oryoumaydamagethetankdraincomponents.
Tightentheplasticnutlockatthebaseofthehandlelockthe
tankdrainintheopenposition.Whenthetankhasdrained,
loosentheplasticnutandpushtheT-handledownuntilit
stops.Tightentheplasticnuttosecurethetankdraininthe
closedposition.
Note:Theplasticnutonthetankdrainshouldbetightened
whennotinusetopreventleaksatthedrainhandle.
