Thetankcoverislocatedinthecenterofthetopofthe
tank(Figure37).Toopenit,turnofftheengineandsetthe
parkingbrake,thenturnthefronthalfofthecovertotheleft
andswingitopen.Youcanremovethestrainerinsidefor
cleaning.Tosealthetank,replacethestrainerifremoved,
closethecover,androtatethefronthalftowardtheright.

Anti-siphonFillReceptacle
Theanti-siphonllreceptacle,infrontofthetankcover,
isahosereceptaclewithathreadedttinganda90degree
barbedttingwhichyoucandirecttowardthetankopening
(
Figure37).Thisreceptacleallowsyoutoconnectawater
hoseandllthetankwithoutcontaminatingthehoseand
watersupplywiththechemicalsinthetank.Cutthehosetoa
lengththatallowstheminimumdistancebetweenthewater
andtheendofthehosewithoutthehosetouchingthewater
andcomplyingwithlocalregulations,typically4to8inches
(10to20cm).
Important:Donotallowthehosereceptacletocontact
tankuids.Donotlengthenthehosetoallowcontact
withthetankuids.
