Donotweld,grind,orsmokenearabattery.
Note:Theelectricalsysteminthismachineis12volts.
ConnectingaBoosterBattery

Neversmokenearthebatteryandkeepsparksand
amesawayfrombattery.
Note:Thisprocedurerequires2peopletoperform.Ensure
thatthepersonmakingtheelectricalconnectionswearsthe
properfaceprotection,protectivegloves,andclothing.
1.EnsurethatallcontrolsareintheNeutralpositionand
thattheparkingbrakeisintheOnposition.
2.Sitintheoperatorseatandhavetheotherpersonmake
theconnections.
Note:Ensurethatthejumperbatteryisa12-volt
battery.
Important:Ifyouareusinganothermachine
forpower,ensurethatthe2machinesarenot
touchingeachother.
3.Ensurethatthebattery-disconnectswitchisintheOn
position;refertoBattery-DisconnectSwitch(page21).
4.Removethecoverfromthejumppost(Figure78).
