Note:Ifpossible,draintheoilwhenitiswarm.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengine,
andremovethekey.
2.Placeadrainpanundertheforwardholeinthe
transmissionshield(Figure95).

3.Throughthetransmissionshield,cleantheareaaround
thetransmissiondrainplug(Figure95).
4.Removethedrainplugandallowthetransmissionto
draincompletely.
5.Cleanthethreadsoftheplug.
6.ApplyPTFEthreadsealingtapetothethreadsofthe
plug.
7.Throughthetransmissionshield,securelyinstallthe
drainplugintothedrainportofthetransmission.
FillingtheTransmissionwithOil
Transmissionoilcapacity:approximately10L(10.6US
qt)—withlterchange
Important:Ifyouoperatethemachinewhilethelevelof
thetransmissionoilisbelowtherecommendedlevel,you
maydamagethetransmissionandtheparkingbrake.
1.Removethellplugfromthellportofthe
transmission.
2.Cleanthethreadsoftheplug.
3.ApplyPTFEthreadsealingtapetothethreadsofthe
plug.
4.Fillthetransmissionwiththespeciedoilthroughthe
llport(Figure96).
Important:Whenyoullthetransmissionwith
oil,slowlyaddtheoilintothetransmissionto
avoidentrainingairwiththeoil.
