Mower Deck
Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the engine, wait for all moving parts to stop,
and remove key. Engage the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery terminals.
3. Remove the height adjustment pin and lower the deck to the ground.
4. Remove the mower belt, see “Mower Belt Replacement,” chapter 3, page 3-15.
5. Remove the two hairpins and washers that secure the link pin to the frame and deck, then remove the link pin
(Figure 7).
