paperelement,andcleanitasfollows:
A.Washthefoampre-cleanerindetergentand
warmwater.
B.Wrapthefoampre-cleanerinclothandpressdry.
Donotwringthepre-cleaner.Allowittoairdry.
C.Saturatethefoampre-cleanerincleanengineoil.
Pressittoremoveanyexcessoil.
3.Installthefoampre-cleanerontothepaperelement.
Donotwashthepaperelementorcleanitwith
compressedair,asdamagewilloccur.
Note:Withtheaircleanerdisassembled,checkthe
aircleanercomponentsfordamage.Replaceand
damagedparts.
4.Installtheelementwiththepre-cleaner,breather
seal,innercover,wingnut,aircleanercover,O-ring,
andknob.
5.Tightentheknob1/2to1turnafterknobcontacts
thecover.Donotovertighten.

1.Raisethebed(ifsoequipped)andplacethesafety
supportontheextendedliftcylindertoholdupthe
bed.
2.Removethedrainplugandletoilowintoadrain
pan(Figure36).Whentheoilstops,installthedrain
plug.
