edgeoftheclutchpedalis3.75±0.12inch(9.5
±0.3cm)fromthetopoftheoorplatediamond
pattern,whenan4lb(1.8kg)forceisappliedtothe
pedal(Figure57).

4.Tightenthejamnutsaftertheadjustmenthasbeen
attained.
5.Recheckthe3.75±0.12inch(9.5±0.3cm)
dimensionafterthejamnutshavebeentightenedto
ensureproperadjustment.Readjust,ifnecessary.
6.Connectthereturnspringtotheclutchlever.
Important:Ensurethattherodendis
positionedsquarelyontheball,nottwisted,and
remainsparalleltotheclutchpedalafterthejam
nutistightened(Figure58).

1.Raisethebed(ifsoequipped)andpositionthesafety
supportontheextendedliftcylindertoholdupthe
bed.Stoptheengineandtheengageparkingbrake.
2.Loosenthecableclampscrewsecuringthecableto
theengine.
3.PushthechokeknobtotheOffposition.
4.Pushthechokecablermlytowardtheoperator’s
sideofthevehicleandtightenthecableclampscrew .
