themastercylinderyoketothebrakepedalpivot

4.Adjusttheyokeuntilitsholesalignwiththeholein
thebrakepedalpivot.Securetheyoketothepedal
pivotwiththeclevispinandcotterpin.
5.Tightenthejamnutssecuringtheyoketothemaster
cylindershaft.
Note:Thebrakemastercylindermustrelieve
pressurewhenproperlyadjusted.

ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every200hours
1.Raisethebed(ifsoequipped)andpositionthesafety
supportontheextendedliftcylindertoholdupthe
bed.
2.Checkthetensionbypressingthebeltatmidspan
betweenthecrankshaftandpumppulleyswith22lb
(10kg)offorce.Anewbeltshoulddeect0.48to
0.58inch(12to15mm)Ausedbeltshoulddeect
0.55to0.65inch(14to16.5mm).Ifthedeectionis
incorrect,proceedtonextstep.Ifcorrect,continue
operation.
3.Toadjustbelttension,completethefollowing:
A.Loosenthenutssecuringthehydraulicpumpto
theengineframe(Figure53).
