Oil-Pressure-WarningLight
Theoil-pressure-warninglight(Figure62)illuminates
iftheengine-oilpressuredropsbelowasafelevel
whiletheengineisrunning.
Important:Ifthelightickersorremainson,
stopthemachine,shutofftheengine,andcheck
theoillevel.Iftheoillevelislow,butadding
oildoesnotcausethelighttogooutwhenthe
engineisstarted,shutofftheengineimmediately,
andcontactyourauthorizedTorodistributor.for
assistance.
Checktheoperationofthewarninglightasfollows:
1.EnsurethatthemachineisintheP(PARK)
position.
2.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition,butdo
notstarttheengine.
Note:Theoil-pressurelightshouldilluminate.
Ifthelightdoesnotturnon,thenthereisa
potentialmalfunctioninthedisplayand/orsignal.
Note:Ifyoujuststartedorshutofftheengine,
itmaytakeafewsecondsforthelighttoturn
offoron.
Coolant-TemperatureGaugeand
Light
Thecoolant-temperaturegaugeregistersthecoolant
temperatureintheengineandoperatesonlywhenthe
keyswitchisintheONposition(Figure62).
The8coolantbarsblinkandafaultcodeappearsif
theengineoverheats.
ChargeIndicator
Thechargeindicatorilluminateswhenthebattery
discharges.Ifthelightilluminatesduringoperation,
stopthemachine,shutofftheengine,andcheckfor
possiblecauses,suchasthealternatorbelt(Figure
62).
Important:Ifthealternatorbeltislooseor
broken,donotoperatethemachineuntilthe
adjustmentorrepairiscomplete.Failureto
observethisprecautionmaydamagetheengine.
Checktheoperationofthewarninglightsasfollows:
•ShiftthetransmissionlevertotheP(PARK)
position.
•TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition,butdonot
starttheengine.Thecoolanttemperature,charge
indicator,andoil-pressurelightsshouldglow.If
anylightdoesnotfunction,thereisamalfunction
inthesystemthatyoumustrepair.
FuelGauge
Thefuelgaugeshowstheamountoffuelinthetank.
ItdisplaysonlywhenkeyswitchisintheONposition
(Figure62).
Asinglebarindicatesalowfuelleveland1ashing
barindicatesthatthefueltankisnearlyempty.
Tachometer
Thetachometerdisplaysthespeedoftheengine
