4 Replacement Procedures
4.7 ODD Module (Tray-load)
Removing the ODD Module (Tray-load)
NOTE: The installation and removal procedures are the same for all the modules that can be
installed in the ODD bay. See the appropriate sections for the disassembly procedures of
specific modules.
Remove the ODD module according to the following procedures and Figure 4.15.
1. Turn the laptop upside down.
2. Remove one M2.5x8 screw.
3. Pull the ODD module in the direction of the arrow as indicated in Figure 4.15.

CAUTION: Handle the ODD module carefully. It can become hot during operation.
