3. BOOK CENTRE ERASE
This feature allows you to erase the shadow in the centre of a book original.

2: After the book centre has been erased

Place paper in the drawer(s).
- "1.SETTING COPY PAPER"  Page 36
- When using this mode in bypass copying ("Bypass Copying" 
Page 59), be sure to specify the paper size.

Place the original(s).
- "2.SETTING ORIGINALS"  Page 45

Press the [EDIT] button to enter the edit
menu, and then press the [BOOK CENTRE
ERASE] button.

Adjust the width of the book centre erase
margin, and then press the [ENTER]
button.
- The default width of the book centre erase margin is 10 mm.
- To adjust the width, press the [2 mm] or [50 mm] button to select
the desired number, and then press the [ENTER] button.
z Select other copy modes as required.

Press the [START] button.
