Remove the staple cases from the staple
cartridges.

While pushing down on the lever (1), pull
up the knob (2).

Remove any jammed staples, and then
return the knob (2) to its original position.
Do not touch the stapling area. The stapler could injure you.

Return the staple cases to their original
position.
