The display panel is the pivoting upper half of the computer that
contains the screen and the display latch.
CAUTION: To avoid damaging your Satellite computer, never
use the display panel to lift or move the computer

|oc The security lock slot allows you to attach the optional PORT
Noteworthy® Computer Lock cable to the computer to secure it to
a large, heavy object such as your desk.
[ojn Pressing the power button turns the computer on or off.

The power button lock prevents you from accidentally turning the
computer on or off. Sliding the power button lock to the right
allows you to use the power button.
The PC Card lock allows you to secure your PC Cards in the PC
Card slots.
:The CardBus-ready PC Card slots allow you to connect PCM
CIA-compatible devices to your Satellite computer. These slots
can accommodate two Type I or Type II PC Cards, or one Type III
PC Card. For more information, see "Using PC Cards" on
page 45.
>V Pressing the reset button allows you to restart the computer when
