Getting Started
This chapter provides tips on creating a comfortable environment
in which to use your Satellite computer. This chapter also
describes how to connect the computer's components and explains
what to do the first time you use the computer.
Making sure you have everything
Before doing anything else, read the Quick Start card (packed at
the top of the computer box) to make sure there are no missing
components.
If any items are missing or damaged, notify your dealer immedi
ately. For additional help, see "If you need further assistance" on
page 156.
Selecting a place to work
Your Satellite computer is designed to be used in a variety of loca
tions and situations. This section provides guidelines for setting up
a comfortable computing environment.
