Stand by command and Resume Mode. Only use the reset button
when all other attempts at restarting the computer have failed.
CAUTION: Do not use a pencil to depress the reset button.
Pencil lead can break off inside the computer and damage it.
Instead, use a slim object such as a straightened paper clip.
The PC Card ejection buttons enable you to easily remove PC
Cards from their slots.
The integrated modem port allows you to connect a standard tele
phone cable to the computer.

Port replicator connector
The DC IN socket allows you to connect the AC adapter to the
computer. For more information, see "Connecting the AC
adapter" on page 17.
The monitor port allows you to connect an external monitor to the
computer.
The serial port allows you to connect a serial device such as a
mouse or serial printer, to the computer.
The port replicator connector allows you to connect the computer
to the optional docking solution.
