parallel,

transfer
files
using

serial
port,
use
a
null
modem
serial
cable.

transfer
files
using
the
parallel
port,
use a
LapLink®-type
parallel
cable.
To
transfer
files
using
the
infrared
port,
use
another
computer
with
a
compatible
internal
or
external
infrared
port
and
the
nec
essary
software.

(4Mbps)
support
for
IrDA-compliant
devices.
To
transfer
files:

Do
one
of
the
following:
If
you
are
using
a
serial
or
parallel
connection,
connect
the
cable.
If
you
are
using
an
infrared
connection,
position
the
infra
red
ports
of
the
two
devices
within
data
transfer
range.
HINT:
To
establish
the
connection,
the
infrared
ports
of
the

two
devices
must
be
within
three
feet
(one
meter)
of
each
other,
with
no
visible
obstructions.

program
on
both
computers.
