6. If a 3-point calibration has failed, the smartCHEM-Titro will display the following
message and the failed slope value of the electrode.

7. If the smartCHEM-Titro has been 3-point calibrated and the incorrect buffer sequence is
subsequently used, the following message will be displayed…
Cal. sequence wrong.
Cannot 3 Point Cal.
Change to 2 point ?

Press to proceed with a 2 point calibration. The second slope currently in memory from the
previous 3 point calibration will be deleted.
Press to cancel, without re-calibrating.
See section 4.3.3 for details on the correct 3 point calibration buffer sequence.
8. The smartCHEM-Titro has an allowable Asymmetry range of –1.00 to +1.00 pH. The
allowable Slope range is 85.0 to 105.0 %. If calibration fails due to either the Asymmetry or the
Slope being outside these limits, then please consult the Troubleshooting guide (section 17.2)
for possible remedies.
