Error 53: Outdoor sensor missing
Comfort Control = Err 53
User Interface = No Alert Displayed
Outdoor Fault LED = No Fault Displayed
Problem Description
• Outdoor temperature sensor is not reporting on the
communication bus
Possible Causes/Solutions
• Outdoor unit not reporting on the communication bus
- Loss of power to outdoor unit
- Control transformer in outdoor unit has failed
• ERR53 may be followed by an ERR126 if outdoor unit
is not reporting on the communication bus
Error 54: Faulty humidity sensor
Comfort Control = Err 54
User Interface = No Alert Displayed
Air Handler Fault LED = No Fault Reported
or
Furnace Fault LED = No Fault Reported
Problem Description
• Internal humidity sensor in comfort control has failed
- If ISU370 indoor humidity sensor is disabled or set
to remote an Err54 will be displayed on comfort control
Possible Causes/Solutions
• Replace comfort control
• Failure could be caused by voltage spikes or
electrostatic discharge
Error 64: Stuck button(s)
Comfort Control = Err 64
User Interface = No Alert Displayed
Air Cleaner Fault LED = YEL-1, 2 & 3 ON
RED-1 & 2 ON, 3 OFF
Problem Description
• One or more buttons on the air cleaner power door
are stuck ON
Possible Causes/Solutions
• Check to see if buttons on air cleaner power door
operate smoothly without any obstructions
• Replace air cleaner power door if unable to free
button or clear alert
Error 67: Temperature sensor fault
Comfort Control = Err 67
User Interface = No Alert Displayed
Outdoor Fault LED = 5 Flash
Problem Description
• Ambient temperature sensor fault
Possible Causes/Solutions
• Ambient Sensor open or shorted
- Zero or infinite resistance
• Ambient Sensor out of range
- Compare resistance value of sensor to chart in
literature
• No output voltage from control board to sensor
- With sensor disconnected, 5vDC should be
measured on control board
