Connect the Power Supply
After mounting the MPRX, connect the reader to a dedicated 12–24 VDC or 24–110 VDC power supply.
The MPRX should be connected to power with an external fuse to protect both the MPRX and power
source. Inrush and Steady State currents for the MPRX are listed in Table 8. Choice of fuse type and rating
shall comply with regulatory requirements of the installation.
