Command Group 2
Group 2 commands control the real-time clock which maintains the MPRX internal time and date. This time
and date can be appended to IDs, error messages, and sensor input reports. An internal battery supports
the clock, so time and date are preserved if main power is lost.
20 Set Time
#20 sets the time. Enter the time in the proper format: two-digit decimal entries with no
spaces between characters and using colons as delimiters.
The entry format is as follows:
20HH:MM:SS or 20HH:MM:SS:hh
where
HH
represents hours (00 to 23).
MM
represents minutes (00 to 59).
SS
represents seconds (00 to 59).
hh
represents hundredths of a second (00 to 99).
:
is the time delimiter.
If hundredths of a second is not specified, the reader sets the hundredths register to 00.
