Description
The TS 1300 is a straight belt conveyor that has been specially designed for
high capacities. Proportionately large cylindrical pulleys with a diameter of
135 mm and dual-sided guidance of the conveyor belt with special belt
edges allow powerful cyclic operation at high conveying speeds as well as
the lateral movement of loads.
Main features:
Depending on the design of the indexing conveyor or mega merge in
conjunction with diverters
High starting torques and conveying speeds with low belt tension
Absolute track precision even under unfavourable length/width condi-
tions, standard adjustments are not required
Easy-to-assemble bolted construction
All maintenance possible from the top
Technical description
Every TS 1300 conveyor is based on a bolted basic frame consisting of
lateral aluminium extrusion profiles, which are screwed to cross beams at
regular intervals.
The basic frame is supplemented with a cylindrically cut belt, which is posi-
tioned at a level and driven by a cylindrical pulley with a wrap angle of 180°.
Potential lateral forces that are exerted on the belt are absorbed via a combi-
nation of ball bearings in special supports and two belt edges attached to the
belt and they are diverted into the belt frame.
The conveyor's drive pulley transmits drive power across its entire length
using friction. The belt tension required for safe running is guaranteed by
adjustments of the tail- and drive pulley inside the bearing blocks. The
required torque is achieved via a shaft-mounted gear motor.
