4. Check the conveyor belt for correct tension and adjustment.
? The conveyor belt moves off to the sides.
The belt must be readjusted.
Please refer to "Tightening/adjusting the conveyor belt" in the "Mainte-
nance and repair" section.
5. Switch the machine off.
The machine is ready for normal operation.
The machine has been put into operation.
Normal operation
Normal operation includes the daily switch-on and switch-off procedure and
machine use by operating personnel.
Operation of the conveyor via the control unit of the overall conveyor system
is usually described in the system documentation or in the control unit docu-
mentation.
After a machine downtime of more than 4 weeks, the complete maintenance
procedure described in the maintenance schedule must be carried out. Then
proceed as described in the section on commissioning.
Shutdown
The shutdown procedure includes switching off the machine before any
service, maintenance and repair work or before downtime.
Complete the following steps:
1. Turn off the main switch for the machine's power supply in accordance
with the control unit documentation.
2. Secure to prevent the machine from being switched on inadvertently.
The machine has been decommissioned.
