Operation-related maintenance schedule
Interval Assembly Maintenance/inspection
Weekly Complete machine Visual inspection:
After work or in the case of a shift change-
over, make sure all possible load residues
are cleared out of the machine.
Foreign particles/foreign objects are not
permitted on the conveyor belt or in the
pulley/roller areas.
Weekly Protective devices Visual inspection:
Is the equipment complete according to
the specifications in the operating instruc-
tions?
Is all the equipment undamaged and func-
tional?
Weekly Conveyor belt Visual inspection:
Is the belt soiled? If so, clean belt.
Is the surface damaged? If so, replace belt.
Is the belt bulging up? If so, correct belt
tension and adjustment.
Depending

Gear motor
Observe the oper-
ating instructions
provided by the
manufacturer!
Gear:
Are there any oil marks under the gear? If
so, seal off leak and correct oil level.
Check mounting and alignment.
Can abnormal running noise be heard?
Check bearings.
Motor:
Check cable routing and temperature.
Can abnormal running noise be heard?
Check bearings.
Check cooling fins and air intakes.
Monthly Drive pulley Visual inspection:
Is the drive pulley soiled? If so, clean the
pulley.
Is the surface damaged? If so, replace the
pulley.
Monthly Flange bearings Inspection:
Can abnormal running noise be heard from
bearings? If so, replace bearings.
Compare bearing temperatures. If one
bearing is at a significantly higher tempera-
ture, replace it.
Monthly Bearings of belt edge
holders
Inspection:
Can abnormal running noise be heard from
bearings? If so, replace belt edge holders.
Is an excessive amount of lubrication
coming out of the bearings? If so, replace
belt edge holders.
Every 6
months
Joining elements Check the screws subject to dynamic load for
firm seating.
