Tighten/adjust the
belt
WARNING
Risk of injury due to exposed machine parts!
Rotating machine parts may retract parts of the body, hair and clothes and
cause crushing.
Wear close-fitting protective clothing.
Use a hairnet to cover long hair.
Complete the following steps:
1. Evenly tension the belt by turning the tensioning screws (1) on both
sides.
The belt will have a delayed response to the adjustment. Therefore, only
adjust the tensioning screws slightly. Wait for a few running cycles before
adjusting again.
2. Switch on the machine.
3. Check that the belt is running correctly.
4. Switch off the machine.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until the belt is running correctly.
6. Only adjust the tensioning screws unevenly if the belt runs to the side.
7. Tighten all the joining elements.
The belt has been tightened/adjusted.
