9.5.2 Replacing the drain valve assembly
1. Take off the autoclave cover (see para. 9.2 “Removing
the Outer Covers of the Autoclave”).
2. Disconnect the drain tube from the valve, using a 9/16”
wrench.
3. Remove the nut (3) and the “ring for drain valve” (2).
4. Remove the drain valve (1) from the panel.
5. Install a new valve according to the drawing below.
6. Verify that there is no leakage.
