Corrections
3.1.1 Fix leakage from chamber and
jacket.
3.1.2 Replace the faulty heating element.

3.1.4.1 Reset the cut-off
thermostat. If it does not
help – replace it.
3.1.5.1 Reset the cut-off
thermostat. If it does not
help – replace it.
3.1.5.2 Fix connection.
3.1.5.3 Replace faulty contactor.
3.1.6.1 Clean the contaminated
electrode.
3.1.6.2 Replace faulty electrode.
3.1.6.3 Fix electrode electrical
connections.
3.1.6.4.1 Clean clogged
piping.
3.1.6.4.2 Replace water
pump.
3.1.6.4.3 Replace non-
return valve.
3.1.7 Replace faulty water pump.
3.1.8 Clean clogged pipe and/or filter.
Possible cause check-up and tests
3.1 Pressure and temperature are low.
3.1.1 Leakage from the chamber or from the
jacket.
3.1.2 Faulty heating element.
3.1.3 Pressure switch faulty or adjusted to low
pressure.
3.1.4 On model 2540 only:
3.1.4.1 Cut-off thermostat disconnects
the heating element.
3.1.5 On model 3870 only:
3.1.5.1 Cut-off thermostat disconnects
command to the contactor that
disconnects the heating element.
3.1.5.2 The contactor is disconnected.
3.1.5.3 Faulty contactor.
3.1.6 Lower water level electrode does not sense
water. Possible cause:
3.1.6.1 Contaminated electrode.
3.1.6.2 Faulty electrode.
3.1.6.3 Electrode disconnected.
3.1.6.4 Low or no water inlet and water
pump operates too often.
3.1.6.4.1 Water inlet pipe to the
chamber is clogged.
3.1.6.4.2 Faulty water pump.
3.1.6.4.3 Non-return valve on
water inlet pipe is
stuck.
3.1.7 Faulty water pump.
3.1.8 Water inlet pipe and/or filter are clogged.
