6.2.3 Summary of the basket loading operations
Instruments Insert type Sequence
Knobs Basket 1) Fill the basket arranging the
instruments upside down in the appropriate
holes;
2) Insert the basket in the tank up to the stop;
3) Close the door, start the program.
Trays Insert 1) Fill the insert by arranging the trays
tray holder in the spaces provided;
2) Insert the insert in the basket;
2) Insert the basket in the tank up to the stop;
3) Close the door, start the program.
Instruments Insert 1) Fill the insert by arranging the trays
Surgical instrument holder upside down in the spaces provided;
2) Insert the insert in the basket;
2) Insert the basket in the tank up to the stop;
3) Close the door, start the program.
HAZARD. Be very careful when inserting pointed or
sharp instruments. Always insert the instruments start-
ing from the bottom, and possibly wearing protective
gloves.
Perforated baskets and supports do not provide protec-
tion against pointed and/or sharp instruments.
WARNING. Failure to follow these recommendations
may cause injury. Pay the utmost attention when load-
ing/unloading the instruments to be washed.
