9.1 General information
Due the electronic system and its automatization, could be many sceneries where could appears a failure code. The
previous means that different failure codes could be caused by mechanical issues or due to the EFI components.
Diagnostic tools cann’t 100% indicate the root cause, in that case, this section shows the way to dig out the root
cause with the help of the diagnostic tools.
9.2 Precautions
• Do not disassemble the components arbitrarily. It may damage the components, if water or oil
seep into the parts.
• When the app installation is being done, please do not delete data or format memory card,
otherwise it may lead to fail the installation. When the installation has finished, click “open”
to run2) Turn the ignition off, before connect or disconnect the connectors.
• Make sure the ECU temperature is below 80℃.
• Please do not disassemble the fuel pipe arbitrariliy. If have to, please first release the pressure,
and make sure the operation is done in a ventilated environment by the professional
mantenance persons.
• When disassmeble the fuel pump from the pump, make sure the power is off. Or it may casue
fire.
• The fuel pump cannot work in air or water, it will shorten the service life. And the positive and
negative connecters shouldn’t be exchanged.
• When check the spark plug out of the engine, in case of ignite the engine, please make sure the
throttle is closed. Due to unburned gasoline coming to the catalyst may damage the catalyst.
• The idle speed is adjusted by the ECU. The idle pintle is not allowed to be adjusted.
• The Positive and Negative poles on battery cannot be exchanged. It may damage the EFI
components.
• It is forbidden to remove the battery when the eninge is running.
• Shouldn’t be measured the signal by piercing the harness.
