5.4.3. Piston disassembly
5.4.3.1. Place a clean cloth under the piston to guard
against that circlip of piston pin falls into crankcase
during removal.
5.4.3.2. Use long-nose pliers to remove circlip of piston
pin.
5.4.3.3. Remove Piston pin
5.4.3.4. Turn piston rings manually to check if the
piston rings can rotate freely on the piston without
seizure.
Use thumbs to increase gap slightly between ends of
the piston ring to take out the piston ring.
Note
Do not damage piston and piston ring when
taking out piston ring.
Clean off carbon deposit from piston ring groove using a
discarded piston ring.
