8.7. Drive train assembly
8.7.1. Clean the components and parts with
cleaning agent
8.7.2. Dry the cleaned components and parts
using air, then apply engine oil on it.
8.7.3. Apply appropriate amount of grease onto
inner and outer races of bushing to
guarantee initial lubrication
8.7.4. Install the components and parts onto their
original positions
Note
•
All gears assembled shall be able to rotate and move freely.
•
Washers must be installed in accordance with specified direction.
•
Circlip must be replaced with a new one. Used circlip has less resilience regards
a new one, causing looseness.
•
After the circlip is installed, split of circlip shall be aligned with the keyway on the
shaft.
