When Check Character is set to Validate and Transmit, the scanner only reads Code 39 bar
codes printed with a check character, and will transmit this character at the end of the scanned
data. Default = No Check Character.
Code 39 Message Length
Scan the bar codes below to change the message length. Refer to Message Length
Description (page 49) for additional information. Minimum and Maximum lengths = 0-48.
Minimum Default = 0, Maximum Default = 48.
Code 39 Append
This function allows the scanner to append the data from several Code 39 bar codes together
before transmitting them to the host computer. When the scanner encounters a Code 39 bar
code with the append trigger character(s), it buffers Code 39 bar codes until it reads a Code 39
bar code that does not have the append trigger. The data is then transmitted in the order in
which the bar codes were read (FIFO). Default = Off.

If Full ASCII Code 39 decoding is enabled, certain character pairs within the bar code symbol
