OPEN Temporarily Open Transmitter
from POLL-Mode to Receive Serial
Commands
Syntax: OPEN nn<cr>
Where
nn = Address of the transmitter (0 ... 99)
The OPEN command sets the bus temporarily in STOP-mode so that the
SMODE command can be issued.
Example:
>open 4<cr>
Device: 4 line opened for operator commands
>
CLOSE Set Transmitter in POLL-Mode
Syntax: CLOSE<cr>
In STOP-mode: command OPEN has no effect, CLOSE sets the
transmitter temporarily in POLL-mode.
In POLL-mode: command OPEN sets the transmitter temporarily in
STOP-mode, command CLOSE returns the instrument to POLL-mode.
