When Valmet OCR measures
unscreened pulps it must be installed
50–150 cm (approx. 2–5 ft) from a pump,
not immediately where the pump delivers
the pulp.
Also make sure to install the sensor
probe in the downstream direction and
adjust the insertion depth (see Sensor
depth adjustment) so that it is flush with
the pipe surface.
