The device contains a passive
currently supply that requires an
external power source. The load
capacity of the current output as
a function of supply voltage. Re-
sistance here is the sum of load
resistor, cable resistance and
power source resistance in the
current loop. HART communica-
tion requires min. 250 Ω load re-
sistance.
6.3
Binary inputs
The TCU has two galvanically isolated bi-
nary inputs, BIN 0 (term. 12) and BIN 1
(term. 13). These inputs share a common
ground (term. 11). The system must sup-
ply 12–28 VDC / 10 mA voltage to the bi-
nary input.
