Install Appliance for 3 or 4-Sided Trims
Place appliance in framing
1. Install frame fi xing brackets on each side of appli-
ance (2 screws per bracket). Use the hole or slot
according to the thickness of wall fi nish—see page
page 25.
2. Taking great care not to cut your hands on sheet
metal edges, lift appliance up and insert into fram-
ing. Ensure that unit is at the right height with consider-
ation to the height of hearth or combustible fl ooring.
When setting the position of the appliance within the
framing, the front surface of the positioning bracket
indicated should always be fl ush with where you
anticipate the fi nished wall surface to be. Adjust the
position of the frame fi xing brackets to suit.
If in doubt, allow for slightly less material thick-
ness as the trims have additional 3/4” of adjust-
ment.
