1.4.2. Remote Monitoring Software
AHU interface with the BMS system through Modbus/ SNMP/ BACnet communication protocol by unity card, which enables
AHU to communicate with the host computer and receive the control instructions from the host software.
1.4.3. Dual Power Supply- ATS
The dual power ATS can automatically detect both the power sources (source 1 & source 2). In case of a break-down of the
preferred power source, ATS is equipped to automatically switch to source 2. It can also provide an output signal associated
with a power alarm.
1.4.4. Supply Air Temperature Sensor
Supply Air Temperature Sensor can monitor the supply air temperature of the AHU. The supply air temperature can be set
on the display. When the supply air temperature exceeds the set value, the unit will alarm.
1.4.5. Return Air Temperature & Humidity Sensor
Return air temperature & humidity sensor can detect the return air temperature and humidity of the AHU. The temperature
and humidity can be set on the display. When the return air temperature or humidity exceeds the set value, the unit will
alarm.
1.4.6. Belt Type Leak Detector
Belt type leak detectors are placed in the low-lying areas under the unit. It detects the water leakage under or nearby the
floor area. The belt type detectors cover a larger range as compared to the leak detection plate equipped with the standard
unit.
1.5. SFA Components
1.5.1. MERV11 Filter
TAHU comes with a standard MERV8 filter, or you can choose a MERV11 filter, which has a higher level of filtration.
1.5.2. Dual Power Supply- ATS((C300)(
The dual power ATS can automatically detect both the power sources (source 1 & source 2). In case of a break-down of
the preferred power source, ATS is equipped to automatically switch to the source 2. It can also provide an output signal
associated with power alarm.
1.5.3. Airflow Meter
AHU can detect the pressure dierence before and after the fan through the air pressure dierence sensor. And according
to the formula provided by the fan manufacturer, the real-time air flow of the unit is calculated.
1.5.4. Power Meter
Power meter can detect various electrical parameters of the unit, such as power, frequency, voltage, current, etc.
1.5.5. Ultracap
Ultracap can provide 120s of power for the motherboard and display. Expensive downtimes, long restart cycles and loss of
data can be avoided. In times when the power supply provides suicient voltages, the buer module stores energy in the
capacitors. In case of a mains voltage fault, this energy is released to the DC bus in a regulated process. The buer modules
are maintenance-free and have a similar lifetime expectancy as power supplies. No regular replacement of the capacitors is
necessary as is required for battery based UPS systems.
