6.4. FILLING THE WATER TANK
The Plus FID Station has an internal water tank included in its chassis. The tanks must be relled with
deionized water with conductivity below 1 µS. Follow these steps in order to ll the automatic water tank
system correctly.
1. Fill the external tank provided with
deionized water (below 1 µS/cm).
4. Place the tank higher than the generator (the
system is relled by gravity). Water will begin to ow
from the tank into the generatoe.
• Disconnect the external tank when max is reached to avoid overll.
• ONLY use deionized water in the generator. Water containing metallic, salt, or
other inonic impurities will contaminate/damage the cell, and will void the
warranty.
2. Pull the front panel of the generator by handles as
showed in photo (g.1). You have the access to the
relling tting (g.2).
3. Connect the external water tank tting to
the rell tting on the front of the instrument.
5. Disconnect the tank when the water
has reached the MAX level shown on the
side of the unit.
