Repair Instructions
Timing cover outer,
replacement (15A-01)

Disconnect the battery.

Remove the generator (GEN) drive belt, operation
22A-03.

Remove the pulley for the water pump.
4
Remove the inspection hatch from the timing cover
(15A.04/A).

Remove the clips for the cover and remove the cap
(A).

Check that the cap is clean and that all the spring
clips are fastened at the timing cover.

Install the cap on the timing cover and ensure that
all the clips are in position.
8
Install the inspection hatch on the timing cover and
the cap.
9
Install the water pump belt.
10
Install the generator (GEN) belt, operation 22A-03.
11
Connect the battery.
