Coolant
Use the same coolant as the system was filled with previously. To avoid engine damage, different kinds of coolant
may not be mixed with each other.
When using concentrated coolant and clean water, the mixture should contain 40–60 % concentrated coolant and
60–40 % clean water. The amount of concentrated coolant must never be less than 40 % of the total mixture, see
table below.
The concentrated coolant may not be mixed with water having a high content of lime (hard water), salt, or metals.
The clean water for the cooling system must also meet the following requirements:
If there is doubt as to the quality of the water, use ready-mixed coolant. To avoid engine damage, different kinds
of ready-mixed coolant may not be mixed with each other.
