Answering system settings
Answer on/off
To set answer on/off with the telephone base:
Press ANS to turn the answering system on or off.
-OR-
Press MENU when the telephone base is not in use, then press
SELECT to select Answering system.
Press or to scroll to Answer ON/OFF, then press SELECT.
Press or to scroll to On or Off, then press SAVE. You hear a
confirmation tone.
You cannot turn on the answering system with no memory
capacity left. If you try to turn it on, the telephone announces,
“Memory is full. Calls will not be answered.”
If the memory capacity is less than 3 minutes, the telephone
announces, “Less than three minutes to record,” and the screen
displays Less than 3 min to record.
