Answering system operation
Delete all old messages
You can only delete old (reviewed) messages. No old messages to
delete displays when you have no old messages. You cannot delete
new messages until you review them. You cannot retrieve deleted
messages.
To delete all old messages with a cordless handset:
Press MENU when the handset is not in use.
Press or to scroll to Answering sys, then
press SELECT.
Press or to scroll to Delete all old, then
press SELECT. The screen displays
Delete all old messages?
Press SELECT to confirm. The screen displays
Deleting... then All old msgs deleted! You hear
a confirmation tone.
To delete all old messages with the
telephone base:
Press MENU when the telephone base is not in use, then press SELECT
to select Answering system.
Press or to scroll to Delete all old, then press SELECT. The
screens displays Delete all old messages?
Press YES to confirm. The screen displays Deleting... then
All old msgs deleted! You hear a confirmation tone.
-OR-
Press X/DELETE when the telephone base is not in use.
Quickly press X/DELETE again. The screen displays Deleting...
then All old msgs deleted! You hear a confirmation tone.
