Save a caller ID log entry to the phonebook
Search for the desired caller ID log entry (see Review the caller ID
log on page 87).
Press SELECT on the cordless handset/SAVE on the telephone base
to choose the entry. The screen displays EDIT NUMBER and the
stored number.
Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press DELETE on the handset/X/DELETE or BACKSPACE on
the telephone base to erase a digit.
Press and hold DELETE on the handset/X/DELETE on the
telephone base to erase all digits.
Press and hold PAUSE to enter a dialing pause (a P appears).
Press SELECT on the cordless handset/NEXT on the telephone
base. The screen displays EDIT NAME and the stored name.
Use the dialing keys to edit the name. Additional key presses show
other characters of that particular key.
Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press 0 to add a space.
Press DELETE on the handset/X/DELETE or BACKSPACE on
the telephone base to erase a character..
Press and hold DELETE on the handset/X/DELETE on the
telephone base to erase all characters.
Press SELECT on the cordless handset/SAVE on the telephone base
to save the entry. The screen displays Saved and then the revised
entry. You hear a confirmation tone.
