4.5.2 MicroControl Power-Up BIT Diagnostics
MicroControl power-up BIT Diagnos-
tics only runs after the option is ini-
tially installed. Thereafter, BIT test
must be run from the configuration
diskette (part number 7 25-4051)
by running the diagnostic file
'SPDIAG.EXE'. Diagnostic error
codes are displayed on the monitor
screen. If no error conditions are de-
tected, the following status message
is displayed on the monitor screen.
FULLY FUNCTIONAL
Prior to powering-on the PC, perform
the following MicroControl hardware
checks:
• Hex Segment Address jumper (H2)
is set to a valid, non-conflicting
address. [•4.2)
• Interrupt Level jumper (H3) is set to
a valid, non-conflicting address.
(.4.2)
• The board is properly seated in an
expansion slot.
• Token Reader cable is properly con-
nected.
