The Waters 515 HPLC Pump is shipped in one carton that contains the
following items:
• Waters 515 Pump
•Startup Kit
• Certificate of Validation
• Operator’s Guide
To unpack the pump:
1. Open the carton and remove the Startup Kit and other items from the
slot at one end of the carton.
2. Using both hands, lift the pump (and its foam packing material) out of
the carton.
3. Carefully set the pump down, then remove the foam packing material
from the ends of the pump.
4. Check the contents of the Startup Kit against the Startup Kit parts list
to confirm that all items are included.
