12. Prime the pump as described in “Priming the pump” on page 3-15. If you
notice leaks, verify pump head and plunger seal installation.
13. Recalibrate the pump flow rate as described in “Calibrating the flow
rate” on page 4-7.
Cleaning and replacing check valves
Clean the inlet and outlet check valves every 6 months, or more frequently if
required by your application. It is a good idea to keep a spare set of clean
check valves on hand. If you need to remove the check valves for cleaning, you
can install the spare check valves immediately, then clean the dirty check
valves at a convenient time.
