13 General operation
Opening the pumphead guard
l Isolate the pump from the mains power supply.
l Disconnect the tubing from the external pipework.
l Lift the two levers at either side of the pumphead and remove the track.
l Follow the reverse of the installation process above to remove the tubing from the pumphead.
Pre-load checks
l Before loading tubing, ensure that all rollers rotate freely, that the tube ports and location grooves
are clean
Closing the pumphead guard and start-up
Ensure no debris, loose fastenings or other foreign objects are in
pumphead before start-up. Failure to do so may result in an explosion
hazard.
