WebdynSunPM User guide Version 1.0
6.2 Inputs/outputs
6.2.1 Discrete and pulse inputs
The WebdynSunPM hub has three inputs which can be configured in discrete or pulse mode (pulse
counting).
These inputs are located at the bottom left of the WebdynSunPM concentrator.
Cables for these inputs must not exceed a length of 100m.
The operation mode of these inputs can be set through software.
- In discrete mode, the concentrator can detect openings and closures of dry contacts to
monitor the status of devices or to trigger alarms on status changes.
- In pulse mode, the WebdynSunPM concentrator manages the Class A (24 V) and B (5 V) pulse
outputs of the meters according to IEC 62053-31:1998.
