Using the 2U Termination Panel with 32 Form C Relay Outputs
This module provides 32 relay outputs.
Each relay has 1 common input and 2 outputs: NC (Normally Closed) and NO (Normally Opened).
Connection
Connect the termination panel with SCSI cable included.
Connect the provided power supply (5 VDC, 3A, center positive) to the power connection on the panel.
Each panel provides 32 SPDT Form C relays and is wired using
sixteen 6-position terminal blocks. For ease of wiring, each Form
C relay can be individually wired for either normally-open or
normally-closed operation and can switch AC or DC voltages.
Schematic diagram
Relay OFF COM is linked to the NC output.
Relay ON COM is linked to the NO output.
Practical applications
1. The relay can be used like an on-off switch to make a contact between the common and one of the
outputs (NC or NO).
2. It is also possible to connect a power supply to the common and to switch this power supply between the
NC and the NO output.
Each circuit can support 250VAC, 250VDC, 125VA AC with a maximum of 60W DC
